Glue is an indispensable tool for those who practice creative DIY. Whether it’s scrapbooking glue, fabric glue, wood glue, glass glue, bijoux glue and more generally DIY glue, this can never be missing.
There are many types of glue for hobbies and each has its own peculiarities. It all depends on the composition that makes them more suitable for one surface rather than another.
Vinil 150 is a specific glue for the wood industry, thanks to its particular chemical-physical constitution, coupled with a medium-high viscosity, guarantees a good grip speed combined with an excellent open time. Complies with UNI-EN 204 -D2 standards.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
The Vinil 150 is suitable for many surfaces, normally used for bonding of:
- wood;
- cork;
- paper and cardboard;
- fabrics;
- felts;
- leather goods and leather goods;
- miscellaneous plastic laminates, frames, etc
APPLICATION TIP
Spread a light layer on the surface to be glued, join the two parts, tighten with clamps or press.
Optimal conditions for the use of VINIL 150 are:
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF ADHESIVE AND SUBSTRATE TO BE BONDED 18 – 20 ¹C
WOOD HUMIDITY 8 – 12
VINIL 150 must be spread evenly over the surfaces to be glued by trowel, roller spreader or other appropriate tool.
The preparation of the wood and its gluing must be carried out, as far as possible, on the same day to avoid a change in the tolerances in the dimensions of the parts, with a consequent lengthening of the pressing time and weakening of the glue joint.
VINIL 150 does not cause stains or other discoloration in the wood.
Iron impurities coming from the tools, can however generate, by reaction with the tannin present in the wood and in particular with the oak, dark stains. For the same reason it is also not advisable to contact or transfer into iron vessels.
